frustrations of race luck
|
I was all over McLaren. I told my daughter all week I would go heavy on McLaren and rule the world big time. But of course when they seemed to **** in practice two I changed my mind. Oh well.
Bad days make the good ones better. I knew they were probably working the add-ons but Norris fooled me with his friday interview of complaints etc. Sometimes I think I would do better without watching practice.
Onward and upward.

Speaking of bad luck, I have a hint for you all... in case you set up your teams later than me, go and check what I did in Laubrechen team and throw all components you see there out of your teams. 
Or copy the team I made there 5 or 6 races ago, which would have been race 4 or 5 for this weekend.
Also I missed the podium today with 147 points and lost my cup duel 132 - 136 .
Sure impressive someone could win the race with the best result of the season so far, neither guessing quali ranks nor using ERS.

You're in good company; a player who was inactive for the last two races beat the entire site and put up the season's best performance while using just 94 M. out of a 103 M. budget (or 94/99 when the last changes were made).
I wonder how often that's happened (PFF1 race win with no changes).
By the way, it appears that on the Team-Details page, if you select a race and there were no team changes prior to it, the "LAST CHANGE" timestamp shows the latest change overall (which can be several races in the future). Is this the intended behavior?

Saving Teams without watching practise is very often the better way. I also had last week a bunch of mclaren all over my teams, and now again with using the extra change i changed my hole teams a lot.
Well, nevertheless the teams are looking good.
But the quali curse is staying, now an inactive player beat me..
